ABOUT CONNECT MINISTRIES
Since 2000, Jimmie and Sherri Bratcher have been showing up and sharing their ministry in places most ministers never go. Why? Because God loves all people, not just church people. Not everyone comes to church. So we go to them. On a Sunday morning or a Saturday night, you can find us in prisons, at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, in world-class music venues, under bridges, on festival stages, and in churches all over the country.
We call it The Ministry of Showin’ Up. Here’s how it works:
Christ is in us.
Where we go, He goes.
And where He goes… stuff happens.
Jimmie says it like this: “Love is the indefensible strategy of heaven.”
God has always had a plan for us and it has never changed. His plan wasn’t to punish us. His plan wasn’t to show His wrath. His plan was then and is now the same thing it’s always been: I will love them. That’s what John 3:16 is about. That’s what the gospel is about. That’s what Connect Ministries is about.
Connect Ministries is a not-for-profit ministry based in Kansas City whose mission is to connect people everywhere to God through the good news of Jesus Christ. We do this through music, books, preaching, and simply showing up.
Connect partners or “Connectors” as we call them, have a vital role in our mission. Assisting us in making a way for us to take the gospel to those who desperately need it. Together with Connectors, we fund events like our Transformation Tours, to prisons in America, and many other events annually.
